My dad’s new restaurant opened last night. I made an appearance and started drawing a bunch of the patrons. One customer came up to my and asked me to draw him and his girlfriend. 

I warned him that I was only capable of drawing insulting caricatures, because I’d always been brought up with the school of thought that caricatures shouldn’t be an apology for someone’s appearance. It should make fun.

The originals were way better and more hideous looking, but I think I gave them something that looked like this. They thought it was the funniest thing and belly chuckled a lot.
