Hey, tell me more about you.
I moved tumblr because it feels like a fun community where one can more frequently share real life events that actually matter, and not just dumb things to do with the internet. A large number of my regular friends are all on tumblr, and it is the coolest.
My buddy Jason & I were talking about how closed off tumblr feels sometimes. There are so many awesome tumblogs out there, but so many of you don’t even have shred of bio or contact information. Who the heck are you? There is no context to the posts. I find some marvelous reads, but sadly nothing about the author, or no way to get in touch.
I realise a lot of this comes down to the functionality of tumblr, but it’s a real bummer! If you don’t have an about page, or blurb, at least switch your ask-holes on (thanks KC).
If you don’t have any information at all and you are not just some dummy, reblog this and share some backstory already!

On tumblr for realsies
I’ve been having way more fun posting to this site than my actual Wordpress blog, so it only made sense to jump over here for real.
I had over 500 posts & 4,500 comments, which would have sucked to lose, so instead they’ve been archived.
I left the design & theming in the hands of my best pal & interface designer Chris Kalani. He is a ninja and makes pretty things all day.
It’s nice being able to make smaller, but more frequent posts of life things to share with the world. After all, that’s what blogging used to be about; and it feels like it’s fading away from the internet. I feel like tumblr is bringing that back again.
Prepare for fun. Yay!

I’m easing away from using this as my microfeed of things I happen to stumble across (which get reblogged a bunch), and move this blog more towards me. I’m having more fun posting frequent life updates and sharing them with my friends - and some of my projects too. I love following tumblogs which are raw people explosions. It’s what the whole blogging thing used to be about after all.
But anyway, I had to share this sweet cover of JM by Chad Blondel that jerks my heartstrings because of the recent events in my goofball of a life. - And it is a wonderful performance.
